Rosaries on the (Them Others) tree. There are bras on the Hawthorn , possibly to make a baby latch onto the teat or a wish to cure breast cancer. 'Pants/trunks' ('underwear' for impotence, successful pregnancy, venereal disease cures, etc. (Them Others = The Holy Dead, Fairies, The Folk, The People, The Beautiful People). An Old Saying was "that if you had/ have many dead enemies you have many enemies amongst the 'fairy', if you had/have many dead friends you have many friends amongst the 'fairy'". Hopefully, we can keep our enemies down. Witches (in the old belief) were supposed to hated and envied by 'them others'.
