'Parable?'...I refer you to the last post, as well. Easily understood by 'modern' people, who love pets more than other people. Yes, you should be kind to 'animals' and other people, especially the poor, not in a pity sense, either. Both live 'larger' lives than most. Do as you please, but look for truth and knowledge.
