We laugh about similar ideas: people in the U.S. demonize other people/religions, yet we have people in the Upland South who refuse to eat pork and shellfish (the foods of our ancestors), people who make women cover their head AND WEAR long skirts (men and women should both cover their head during 'ritual' activity, in OUR opinion), and those who cannot be photographed (which is not Biblical, but Old European, against Hexe).
It is also OUR supposition that Upland Southern Baptists go to church on Wednesday and Friday Nights to counter-magic Witches, as old lore informs us that those are Witch-Days, as is Friday the 13th.
