The Star Man
There is a celestial 'MAN' made of all twelve constellations, according to old Southern lore, based on almanacs, which designated times for farming/planting and animal husbandry. Cain (QYN) is in the moon with his dog, because he cut 'stobs/stakes/brush' on Sunday (Church-day) according to Southern U.S. mountain lore - which designated times of rainfall and farming . White Moths (Grandparents/The Dead) seek the moonlight (Kentucky Folklore). Cabbage plants are eaten by moths and are under the influence of the moon.
