Gone...

You would be surprised at the level of people in the U.S.  with university/college degrees that have to work 'shop' jobs (usually two or one with unsustainable demands and hours).  Since the wealthy 'decided' in the late 1990's, to do away with the 'middle class', there are few well paid jobs left.  The non -sequitur argument was that education would pave the way to success.  It hasn't, even those with masters and Ph.D's sometimes work low wage jobs or have to travel so much that the higher wages virtually disappear with gas, mileage and maintenance.  A 'low class/upper class' society is being established in the U.S. and wrongly so because it defeats the purpose of our founding.  People are getting the world they voted for, it's just a shame that those who didn't are being dragged down with them.
