Citation of Barbuelis from the German Book the Seventh Book of Moses
Seventh Book of Moses
The seal and citation of Barbuelis (Barbuel). Archangel or fallen Archangel of Coercions and Obedience, hidden treasure, patron of all hidden arts and sciences. The spirit appears as a wild boar (one of the favorite animals of the ancient European Continental tribes). I post this in conjunction with the aforementioned post on the Swedish Svartkonstbok. The Seventh book of Moses was a favorite in Germany, the Southern U.S. and somewhat influential in Sweden. Possibly mentioned in the Hollenzwang/ 'Coercion of the Underworld' (attributed to Dr. Faustus) and in the Clavicle of Solomon? (another favorite in the old Southern U.S.).
