The Line (or The Queue), a 'simple-minded parable'...
Suppose you see a long line, do you instantly jump in that line? Possibly, and less likely, you put some thought in and come back later when there is no line or a shorter line. If you are the former, who joins the extremely long line and become irate at the speed of 'ticket-master (we'll call heshe)' or envious of those at the front, you have made two poor choices. One is that you without thought, have joined the line; Two you are blaming others for that decision. YOUR own decision!
On a 'physical level', people in large cities probably couldn't find a short line and we can't always have choices. The other level need not be explained...
All we can say to those in 'long-lines', who jumped in without thought is "Moooo!" No offense to lovely cows. This isn't a very charitable post, but, oh well...
