A true winter movie. Ofelas is a movie, supposedly based on Sami/Saami legend. The shaman of the tribe says that he has seen the white deer/reindeer twice, the third time he will die. This is not a coincidence, as far as I'm concerned. Virginia Dare of the North Carolina colony (the marked tree-CROATOAN) was said to have turned into an albino Doe. In the Big South Fork, a national park in Tennessee and Kentucky, their is a legend of an albino Buck deer, with blue eyes in Strange Tales of The Dark and Bloody Ground by Christopher K. Coleman. There was a 'superstitious' prohibition of shooting an albino deer in some parts of Kentucky, Tennessee and the U.K., not sure it is still believed. Synchronicities of the human mind and continuance of lore (historically unverified) are a wonderful thing !
