Invisibility and those 'who walk a step above us'.

I often desired the power of invisibility when I was a child and took certain 'magical' actions to become so endeavored.  It was safety from bullying and harassment.  However, for regular people invisibility is an art(e) of natural principles.  It causes a person to blend into the background, not to become literally 'out of sight'.  Regular people become a part of the mass of humanity.  This is a fine thing, when you are in mortal danger but, not when you are trying to live a normal life.  I'm quite sure many will take the post as pure insanity, but I have a background in Neurology and Psychology.  The true definition of insanity, is the inability to recognize actions that are out of the "ordinary (societal mores')" or not on par with what is considered normal thought.  I realize everyone will not consider this ordinary, but I've never wanted to be ordinary and that is quintessence of 'invisibility' with a 'regular' human.  One wonders how long such charms last, if they are a hindrance to success in latter life.


Now, I will propose something even more wild.  There are those still human, but blessed or cursed, however one wants to view it, with abilities to actually disappear instantly from regular human sight.   They, of course, will not be on the internet and care nothing about 'regular people'.   There are levels of Witches, Sorcerers, Magicians, et al.  This has nothing to do with wealth, privilege or tested mental acuity. Say, there are those who just manifest what they need by sheer will and thus, they walk a step above us, without interaction.  They remain invisible by the 'gift' and not by being ignored or just blending into the 'masse'.
