August the 21st, (Latin 'Exalted') a full eclipse will come to the Southern U.S. Five (Funf) to Ten Minutes (Zehn Minuten) of total darkness will happen. Many public places have already said they will close (whether this is from fear or a 'true' concern over 'public safety' is speculative). Here are some ideas that you may utilize on the day.
ONE is that 'regular people' will lose their power or hold because of the fear of this natural occurrence.
As we have stated before, it was said in old Midwestern folklore that one could change their sex during a total eclipse if they could kiss their own elbow. Old ideas like this weren't straightforward to the wise, or literal, they were ideas about change in the status quo... This indicates the possibility of miraculous change and the overthrow of 'human order'.
It is pertinent to mention, that 'black' folk spirits will be aligned with the spectra and aura of this natural occurrence. 'Black' here, refers to spirits that present themselves in a 'coal black' colo(u)r . These are the spirits of wisdom, transformation, 'death' and change, within many cultures. Thus, they are 'architects' of change.
Since, 'the light' will be blotted out for a brief period during the day, that which is backward is considered 'right ordered'. All regardless of class, health or financial status will be under the 'UMBRA(E)'. All will be equal in circumstance.
