Thursday (Tors-dag) is/was more important in real traditional Nordic folk magic, than the supposed Neo-pagan Wednesday (Onsdag).  There is an culturally unrelated relationship (quintessence) between Hoodoo, Appalachian (Mountain), Trolldom, and Trollerei in 'foot track workings'.   A stob, driven in the ground where 'one' has urinated causes 'blockage' (Hoodoo and U.S. Mountain folk magic/witched -hurt done have more in common than Trollerei/Trolldom, obviously.)
